Brewing below the blanket of the Pacific Northwest sky, Seaside Tryst is bringing a colorful pastiche to moody indie dance music.
Seaside Tryst is more than a dramatic way of saying “sex on the beach”. Infectious melodies, angular guitars and pulsating synths keep crowds moving at live shows in goth clubs and gay bars alike.
The band released their first full-length record Different Places, a modern new wave gem produced by Jenn Champion, on Cruisin Records. The album is a milestone for the band, who have otherwise self-released EPs and online singles. Different Places is a testament to the magic of queer collaboration – with Jenn Champion’s keen ear and indispensable guidance, these gay pop-obsessives have crafted an emotional, sonically captivating record.
